Well you guys had me a little bit worried there for a bit. I didn’t receive any entries for this contest all month until right before Christmas. I almost thought no one was going to enter but in the end we got a good amount of entries at pretty much the last minute so it’s all good.

It’s almost Christmas and because we’re in a festive mood it’s time for another Japanese emoticons contest!
The prize is another one of these awesome Kaoiro Japanese emoticons stamps!
You could win one of these!
What we’re looking for is Japanese emoticon themed Christmas cookies.
To enter the contest simply bake some awesome looking Japanese emoticon Christmas cookies and email a photo to (removed).
You can be as creative as you want and the Christmas cookies can be either kaomoji or emoji themed.
The last day to enter the contest is December 24, 2014.
Some time after Christmas I’ll be picking the most awesome looking cookies and posting all the entries for you to check out as well.

Our first ever Japanese Emoticon Pumpkin Carving Contest was a success I think, with nine different entries.

This Halloween we’re having our first ever Japanese emoticon pumpkin carving contest!
The rules are very simple. Carve any Japanese emoticon into a jack-o’-lantern and send a photo of it to (removed).
