Winking Emoticons

Winking Japanese Emoticons These kaomojis are winking suggestively at someone. Well it might not be suggestive but that’s probably the only reason I know for winking. If you want to wink to someone through the internet with emoticons than use one of these instead of the standard ;) and you may just blow their mind! For winking Japanese emoticons you can take pretty much any relatively happy looking face and make one of the eyes closed by using a flat character like -. You can also use stars which for some reason signify winks.

Dash Winks

These kaomojis use a dash character ( – ) to make the closed eye in their winks. Play around with the open eye and the mouth to change up the emotion that is being tied to the wink. It’s usually best to have a happy looking face, though. I really don’t think I’ve seen an angry person wink before.

^ Style Winks

These emojis use a ^ for the closed winking eye. These automatically look a little more joyful than the dash winks. This is because ^ eyes are happy eyes. That’s a rule of thumb!
