This Halloween we’re having our first ever Japanese emoticon pumpkin carving contest! The rules are very simple. Carve any Japanese emoticon into a jack-o’-lantern and send a photo of it to (removed). Whoever sends the most awesome looking one will win a Kaoiro Japanese Emoticons Stamp! The deadline for the contest is October 31, 2014. I’ll post all the entries in a future blog post as well as on our Facebook, Twitter and Google+ pages so be sure to follow us on your platform of choice. I saw this amazing skeleton Japanese emoticon (˼●̙̂ ̟ ̟̎ ̟ ̘●̂˻) on a Japanese twitter account and I decided we needed a post about Halloween kaomoji so you can use some awesome Halloween emoticons this year. Here’s a Japanese emoticon zombie: [¬º-°]¬ There are lots of Japanese emoticon devils or demons. They’re actually pretty easy to make. Here are some examples: ←～（o ｀▽´ )oΨ ←~∋(｡Ψ▼ｰ▼)∈ ∋━━o(｀∀´oメ）～→ Here’s an evil looking crazy thing: (▼皿▼) I still don’t know what’s going on with these crazy eye bleeding kaomoji but they certainly look scary to me so I think they fit into the theme of Halloween: ( ༎ຶŎ༎ຶ ) (;´༎ຶД༎ຶ`) (´༎ຶ༎ຶ) (´༎ຶ༎ຶ) Here are some excellent sort of scary looking Japanese emoticon monsters, the bleeding eyes make them look scary: ༼ ༎ຶ ෴ ༎ຶ༽ ༼;´༎ຶ ༎ຶ༽ Here’s what looks to me like a ghost. It’s not really scary but it’s ghost-like #sexyghost: (((༼•̫͡•༽))) And that’s all I’ve got. This skeleton (˼●̙̂ ̟ ̟̎ ̟ ̘●̂˻) is seriously one of the best kaomoji emoticons I’ve ever seen though.
