Dash Winks
These kaomojis use a dash character ( – ) to make the closed eye in their winks. Play around with the open eye and the mouth to change up the emotion that is being tied to the wink. It’s usually best to have a happy looking face, though. I really don’t think I’ve seen an angry person wink before.

These emojis use a ^ for the closed winking eye. These automatically look a little more joyful than the dash winks. This is because ^ eyes are happy eyes. That’s a rule of thumb!

ゝStyle Winks
These text faces all use aゝ character for the closed winking eye. It sort of looks like something got into their eyes, like a bug or maybe some sand. Whatever the reason, it definitely doesn’t look intention or even all that pleasant. I feel kind of bad for these winking emoticons?

Winking Flower Kaomojis With Stars
These facemarks all have a flower in their hair and they’re winking out a star. This is a really absurd situation but let’s just go with it. Winking stars, it is almost magical. These emotes seem very bold since the star is solid and so is most of the flower.

Two People Winking at Someone and Making them Uncomfortable
There’s only one of these emoticons but I quite enjoy it. You could make your own similar ones pretty easily. All you have to do is have an emoticon look uncomfortable with some wide open eyes beside some winking emotes. It’s like the situation is creepy or like somebody is flirting by winking and the other emoticon is not comfortable with it at all.
(*⸰‿-) (☉_☉) (-‿◦☀) |
Complex Winking
These winking emotes are more complex and as a result might not display correctly in all browsers or devices. Complex emoticons and characters tend to work best with Safari. Give this browser a try if you are having issues. Hopefully you can get it to work because these complex winking emoticons are pretty cool.

Hello
Below is a series of possibilities for how to write the word, “hello.” A pretty standard way to write it is as нёllо, which looks very neat and tidy. Alternatively, you could go for something bigger, or even go french to say, “bonjour!” Include more than one emoticon so that it looks like they greeting one another.

Goodbye
Goodbye is one of the first words people learn in a new language, which goes to show how often it is used. Considering this, I had to put together a section just for this farewell, which is said as either “bye,” “bye bye,” or “see you.” Writing “bye” twice comes off as a little cuter than if you just say it once. Include a waving arm on an emoticon with づ to pull the whole thing together.

Good Evening
Here are a few options for writing fancy lettering for “good evening.” This is a great way to greet someone at nightfall, and will set off the evening on a good note. “Evening” is generally written the same as ЁⅤЁЙΙЙG , while “Good” has a few different options. Alternate between an English letter O or the character ◎. You can get more ideas by looking at what are usually used for emoticon eyes, which can often be circles. These will all make great letter o’s.

Sorry
Never delay giving someone an apology. Leave the past to the past by sharing with someone you are sorry, and move on. You have to make it genuine and heartfelt, though, and these artsy words do a great job at conveying just that. The words often have sappy, sad emoticons to express how sorry they truly are. Will you forgive them?!

Yes
This section is simply for all those times you want to say yes. You would be surprised how often you say this word in a single day if you start paying attention to it. If you don’t say yes enough, then using these fancy words will definitely inspire you to become a Yes Man or a Yes Woman! Even if only for an excuse to use these super cool words. Triangle Shaped Worried Mouths
These worried kaomojis use a triangle for their mouth and somehow manage to appear worried. This style of mouth looks a bit like a frown. If you need to express your worry, then go ahead and use one of these emoticons! Note that the triangle mouth has to be facing in this direction, otherwise it will look happy instead of worried.

Д Style Mouths
The character Д is very common on Japanese emoticons. This is especially true in many of the oldest ones. These ones are all worrying and have one of these characters for a mouth. These Japanese emoticons come off as a little more devastated because this style of mouth is so dramatic.

These worried emoji have squiggly mouths all squiggled up with worry. Some even have clouds hanging over their heads to express the darkness that has fallen. This darkness shows the worry that they feel! What can we do to get these emojis to realise everything is ok?

Crescent Mouths
These dongers have a sort of crescent or half circle character used for their worried looking mouth. This mouth looks like a frown as I have never heard of anyone feeling happy and worried at the same time! Choose from any pair of eyes to play around with the subtle emotion tied to the worry. Poor worried emotes, hopefully their worries pass over.

Raised Arms
These Japanese emotes are so concerned that their arms are up and maybe even waving around a bit. This is getting pretty close to panic, I’d say. But I won’t tell that to these emotes because I wouldn’t want them to worry about how they look to other people. If they could even worry about something like that.

Fancy Faces
These are a little bit more fancy than regular kaomojis. I’m not really sure how else to describe them other than they’re missing brackets or similar characters on the sides of the head. Not all emoticon’s have heads though. Sometimes just a simple face is a nice touch and a cool style.

Complex
These text faces are so worried they might be glitching out and not displaying correctly in certain browsers. Don’t worry about that yourself, though. Just switch over to the browser called Safari if you are having problems. This usually sorts everything out.

Writing with a φ
These face marks all use a φ for a hand holding some kind of writing implement like a pen or pencil. It looks like the round part of this character is their hand while the straight line is the writing tool. This is definitely one of my favourite. It is like the pencil has gotten really, really short and they are trying to use it for their writing until the very end.

Writing with a ψ
These text faces on the other hand use a ψ character for a hand holding their writing implement. If you put the eyes close to the ground with characters such as a period (.) or a low circle (。) then it looks like the emoticon is very absorbed in their writing. Their face is basically on the page. Sometimes underscores are used to show the paper that they are writing on.

Writing with a 〆
Another common character for a hand holding a writing implement is 〆. These dongers all use it. These dongers look a little classier simply because the writing tool looks elegantly long and thin. It is also angled nicely. I also love to do writing with long, elegant stationary tools.

Writing with a ¢
These dongers all use a ¢ character for a hand holding a writing implement. I’m not sure who writes at a 90 degree angle, but these emoticons seem to be making it work! Depending on the expression of the emoticon, the tone of the writing they are doing can be identified. I mean, a sad donger is probably writing a sad letter. A “meh” donger is probably just doodling away.

Writing with an Actual Pencil
There’s actually a pencil character and these emojis all use it for their writing. This is one of my favourite writing emoticon characters because there is no mistaking what they are doing. Try adding in some scribbly, squiggly lines coming from the pencil! Or add in some underscores (_) to show where the page is.

Writing with an Actual Hand Holding a Pencil
If a pencil character wasn’t enough these kaomojis have an actual hand holding a pencil character for their writing. Depending on your browser or device, these hands may appear as small text characters or giant, yellow hands. If they are yellow, then these hands are giant compared to the emoticon’s face but it still looks pretty cool. It’s always nice to make use of the fancy characters like these.

Writing on a Laptop
These dongers are all typing something on a laptop computer. You can easily make an open laptop with \_. This is great for showing you are doing work or homework, or are just having fun browsing the web. This is definitely more applicable now than it was in the past.

Baka
Baka in Japanese means something like stupid or idiot. You hear anime characters yell this a lot. I’m not sure why these emotes are all typing baka but they wrote it so fancily with Greek letters. Maybe they are addressing a letter to something they think is an idiot?

Other Words
These emojis are writing other fancy words. Their handwriting must be pretty neat if this is what the words come out looking like! Try using fancy letters instead of plane English text to create a more impressive emoticon. Or go against the grain and use English letters if you really feel called. Nobody will stop you.

Miscellaneous
These are a couple other kaomojis that didn’t really fit in any of the other categories. I couldn’t leave them out, though. They use characters like ණ and ø for their writing tools. Take a look, I can’t describe them all here because they are always different in the miscellaneous section.
