All 10,000+ Of Our Kaomoji Japanese Emoticons in One Giant List

Magic Japanese Emoticons This page is full of magic Japanese emoticons. Witches, wizards, magical girls, people who just somehow found some magic wands and aren’t quite sure how they work, etc. I’ve now kind of found enough of these to justify them having their own category. For these kaomojis you really just need to add some wand like characters and then some stars and sparkles to pretty much any other emoticon.

Star Magic

These magical kaomojis are shooting out stars and sparkly magic.

Meh Japanese EmoticonsThese kaomojis just don’t care and they want you to know. If you just don’t care and you want to throw your hands up in the air and say meh (but on the Internet!) then these are the emoticons for you!The key to making Japanese emoticons that just don’t care is pretty much just having arms pointing upwards with , /, ┗, ┛ or ノ. It’s probably even better if you take some smug emoticons and give them the meh treatment.Wow, there are a lot of kaomojis that just don’t seem to care. Whatever.

Shrug Faces

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ is famously known across the Internet as the “shrug face”. These dongers are all a similar style with the same sort of arms. What is different amongst them are their expressions, which elaborate on the original, famous shrug face. While most people will recognize this famous shrug face, they will not be expecting to see all the other versions of it. So you can surprise them.

Straight Arms

These kaomojis simply have straight arms like \ and / raised up to say meh. One even has a bead of sweat on it’s face using the character ;. These emotes don’t care all that much. They don’t have much more to say about it either.

\(;´□`)/\(〇_o)/\⍩⃝/
\| ̄ヘ ̄|/

┐and ┌ Arms

These emojis all use the same ┐and┌ characters to make raised arms saying whatever. Again, their expressions differ and this makes all the difference. They may be saying whatever, but their faces say how they truly feel about it. They could be happy, distressed, confused, and so on.

Raised up 90 Degree Arms

These text faces are all raising their arms up in a meh-type pose and they’re all holding their arms at 90 degrees. You can make these Japanese emoticons facing to the left, right, or forwards. Some of their eyes are a little more complex and so they might not show up on every browser. Safari is your best chance of getting them to show up properly.

╮and╭ Style Arms

These facemarks all use the characters ╮and╭ to make their arms of indifference. They are shrugging and saying, “whatever!” Not much more to say or do than that! Who really cares enough to say anything more?

╰ and ╯Style Arms

Similar to the previous type of arm these ones are more “up”. These emoticons are more like throwing their arms up because they can’t be bothered to care anymore. This is less like a shrug. Whatever, though.

Curved Arms

These indifferent emotes have sort of curved arms that are pretty common for Japanese emoticons. Characters like ヽand ノare good choices for curved arms. Most of these emoticons use pretty general, straight mouths to add to that whatever feel.IF you want to be a little more expressive, go for the д style mouth.

乁 andㄏStyle Arms

These facemarks all use 乁 and ㄏcharacters for their “meh” arms. Whatever was said or done, they are shrugging it off. They are definitely no longer worrying about it or even concerned about the consequences. Maybe you should be the same way.

ƪ and ʃ Style Arms

Our last major style of “meh” arms. These dongers all use a ƪ or ʃ-like character for their shrugging arms. There have been many different arm options in this Meh category and these care-free dongers get the message across just as clearly. They are raising their arms as if to say, “whatever, it has nothing to do with me.”

Words

These indifferent kaomojis have words such as “why” or “what” with them. They are also shrugging at the same time. Words are always made with fancy letters. Not that these emotes would care if they weren’t.

ɿ(。・ɜ・)ɾⓌⓗⓨ?ɿ(。・ɜ・)ɾⓌⓗⓐⓣ?(「๑•₃•)「 ʷʱʸ?

Miscellaneous

These are just a few more face marks that didn’t care enough to get included in the other categories. They stand on their own. They are all unique and don’t belong in any specific category. One even has what looks like a cake for it’s eyes, which I don’t get but I doubt that emoticon cares either way.

Japanese Emoticon MonkeysUsing these kaomojis is more fun than a barrel of monkeys! Especially since all of these Japanese emoticons are monkeys! How convenient. They’re quite cute too.You can easily make Japanese monkey emoticons by using @ symbols for ears. You can use pretty much any face and just add @ signs to make it into a monkey.

@ Style Ears

These are your standard sort of monkey kaomojis and they use @ for big cartoonish monkey ears. Put the monkey ears on the outside of the emoticon’s cheeks or head. They usually have very small eyes, too. Check out the monkey pals giving a high five at the bottom!

⊂ Style Ears

These monkey face marks are kind of similar to the ones above. The only difference is that they use the characters like ⊂ and ⊃ to make big floppy monkey ears. This makes the entire emoticon look a little bigger. These ones also tend to have two brackets used for the sides of their heads, but it is not entirely necessary if you prefer to use one.

Ϛ⃘๑•͡ .̫•๑꒜ Style Monkeys

I’m not really sure what to call these monkey text faces but they’re all this very distinct style. The differences between them are how they are decorated. Some are decorated with words, or other characters like stars, umbrellas, hearts, music notes, and whatnot. These decorations are the only way to make different versions of this style monkey emoticon because otherwise they all look the same.

Music Japanese EmoticonsThese are some very musical kaomoji emoticons. Some are singing and some are whistling, all of them are being pretty cute. One or two of them may even be playing a musical instrument. There’s also a DJ kaomoji in there which is pretty awesome. For singing Japanese emoticons you can basically take any dancing Japanese emoticon, give it an open mouth with something like a O, △ or □ and adding a musical note like ♪ before or after the face always helps too. You can make whistling emoticons by using a ε for a mouth.

Singing

You can tell these emojis are singing by their big open mouths and the musical notes. Some of them are even waving their arms around because they’re so into the music. The best one is the guy singing in the shower at the end of the list. Can you find it?

Multiple People Enjoying Music Together

These are multiple dongers together either making or enjoying music with each other. They could be a choir, a band, or just two friends who are enjoying music together. Using the character Д for a singing mouth looks absolutely hilarious. IT makes the emotes look very serious yet passionate about singing.

Musical Instruments and Devices

These text faces are playing instruments or using musical devices like headphones, a record player, or a stereo. ¶ and ⁋ make great headphones for Japanese emoticons. Music notes also help to clarify what is going on. Some of these music emoticons are pretty clever.

Regular Emoticons with Musical Notes

Let’s not kid ourselves, these are pretty much just regular emotes with music notes added. They thought they could cheat their way into this category and because they’re cute I’m going to allow it. You can literally take any of your favourite emoticons and add music notes to them to show their love for a good tune. You don’t need to do much else!

Miscellaneous

These are just a few more face marks that needed their own category. One is fancy lettering for the word “music” while the other is a couple of fancy music notes. You can add these miscellaneous characters to any other music-loving emoticon to make it look more interesting. It’s a good idea to remember these are here, too, because you never know when you will want to use these fancy music characters.
