These kaomojis are really shy. We’re not sure why they’re shy but they’re certainly cute. Covering their eyes like that, trying to hide… aww.The main thing about shy looking Japanese emoticons is the rosy cheeks. You can make rosy cheeks with a *, @, # or 〃. Adding a ; for a drop of sweat is always cute too. You can also use / and \ as arms where their eyes should be to show them covering their eyes.There’s also a couple of modest looking emoticons here too. These are some of my all time favourite donger-style emoticons. They’re waving their hand as if to say, “oh you…”. Blushing Cheeks with an Asterisk
These facemarks all have an asterisk for a cheek to show that they’re blushing. This is due to their shyness or embarrassment. Some of them have arms as if to scratch at their heads because they are not sure what else to do with themselves. Others are just trying to smile it off.
