This is a new category of Japanese emoticons that I’ve never encountered before. They look to me like clouds but I really have no idea what they’re supposed to be. I’m going to call them clouds anyways since they remind me of cute clouds with faces. You can pretty much turn any Japanese emoticon into a cloud if you use ꒰ and ꒱ for the sides of the face.A visitor named Layte recently pointed out that these kaomojis could actually be sheep which I can totally see.Simple Clouds
I wasn’t really sure how to sort these cloud kaomojis so I split them up into simpler, less complex ones and more complex ones. As it only takes using ꒰ and ꒱ for the sides of the face, there is a lot of freedom for making the cloud appear any way you like. They can reflect any emotion, but honestly an angry cloud looks a little strange! Maybe add some lightening zaps if the cloud is angry! Otherwise, they come of as adorable little emotes that seem to nuzzle right into your heart.

These are more complex cloud text faces. They use a little bit more and fancier characters and some of them might not display correctly on every device.
