So many of these kaomoji emoticons are crying. Alas all is not lost because not all of these are sad. Some of these emoticons are crying with joy! If you want to express tears for any reason whether it be joy or sadness then these are the Japanese emoticons you want to use.
There were enough of these crying Japanese emoticons to justify separating them from the sad category into their own crying category. Plus not all crying emoticons are sad, some are crying tears of joy. Most of these though are essentially sad emotions that are crying. You can usually show tears with a T, ; or a ╥.
Tears Flying Everywhere
These emotes are crying really hard and their tears are flying everywhere. Someone pass these emoticons a tissue because these tears have no end I sight. It looks best when the tears start off high and fall lower towards the ground. You might even want to throw in some flailing arms to show these emotes have completely lost themselves to their sorrows.

Tears Falling Straight Down
These dongers are crying but their tears are falling straight down rather than flying everywhere. These tears look like single tears that drip down a little more slowly and gently. These dongers really pull on my heart strings.. sniff.. (˘̩̩ε˘̩ƪ) They are just so sentimental.
